Samasource

I founded Samasource, a non-profit based in San Francisco that connects people living in poverty to work via the Internet, in 2008. The social enterprise provides high-quality content moderation, data entry, and other outsourcing services to clients including LinkedIn, Intuit, and the US State Department, and in parallel, provides life-changing opportunities to impoverished people. To date, Samasource has served 900 women, youth and refugees in India, Pakistan, Kenya, Uganda, and Haiti. The company’s board and management team includes experts in the fields of distributed work, economic development, and outsourcing.
